Start free, then pay for the capacity the Relay carries.
OpenE2EE Relay is the managed delivery product for applications built on the OpenE2EE Signal Protocol SDK. Every plan carries every Relay protocol feature. Plans differ by capacity, support, service terms, and approved operational controls.
Every project starts with a Development environment, at no cost and without a card.

Prefer to operate the delivery layer yourself? The SDK is free under AGPLv3. Self-hosting it inside a proprietary product takes an SDK commercial license, from $5,000 per year, and a managed Relay subscription grants no self-hosting rights.
Paid prices are monthly and taxes can apply. Optional overage stays off until an organization administrator accepts the rate and sets a spend limit. Production ciphertext retains for at most 30 days. The Relay service terms control a managed project.
SDK commercial licensing
The OpenE2EE Signal Protocol SDK is a separate product from OpenE2EE Relay, with separate rights and no meter. These grants cover a proprietary product that operates its own infrastructure, and each one renews annually.
AGPLv3 license
The complete SDK, for products that can meet the AGPLv3 obligations. No feature is held back and nothing is time-limited.
Startup license
Commercial production rights for one named product owned by one legal entity, purchasable without talking to anyone.
Growth license
Commercial rights with a configurable product scope, plus implementation support while you integrate.
Enterprise / OEM license
Negotiated portfolio or redistribution rights, security review, and service levels.
A Startup commercial license renews annually until you cancel before the renewal date. Taxes may apply. The self-hosted agreement controls that grant, covered products, support, renewal, and post-expiration rights.
