Prohibited activity
You may not use OpenE2EE Relay or another OpenE2EE service to:
- violate law, sanctions, export controls, or another person’s rights;
- send spam, malware, phishing, abusive automation, or unsolicited bulk traffic;
- exploit, threaten, harass, defraud, or facilitate serious physical harm;
- store or distribute unlawful content, including child sexual abuse material;
- probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to a service or account;
- hide the origin of prohibited traffic or evade a limit, suspension, or security control; or
- use another customer’s credentials, project, data, or capacity without authorization.
Customer controls
You must secure project credentials, authenticate users, enforce application access, respond to abuse reports, and keep contact information current. Encryption does not remove your responsibility for activity that your application enables.
Enforcement
OpenE2EE may reject traffic, rate-limit a project, preserve relevant evidence, or suspend service when reasonably necessary to stop harm, protect the service, or comply with law. Where safe and lawful, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure. We may terminate severe or repeated violations without a cure period.
Reports
Report suspected abuse to security@open-e2ee.dev. Include the affected project or public endpoint, relevant times, and enough detail to investigate. Do not send message plaintext or private cryptographic material unless we ask for it through a protected channel.
